3 Reasons People Don’t Fix Their Credit
Can we have a tough convo’? I mean this is really important and the underlying issue isn’t going anywhere. It will not disappear. It won’t evaporate. We need to talk about OUR credit. I personally don’t have perfect credit. I’m working on it. I’m working on it hard. It’s important to me because I want my name to be associated with integrity and honesty. I don’t say that because I lack either of those two things. I only say it because it’s important to me to have a clear conscience. I haven’t paid everyone I owe. Some will never get paid. #RealTalk. It just didn’t work out like we planned during the initial transaction. Don’t laugh… (They should’ve never given US that much money)…
The name of the company I own is Frank Henderson Financial and the core business that I’m committed to doing is life insurance. It’s that important to me because it’s one of the least expensive ways to make it better for the ones you love and care about that exists today. The flexibility and purposes for it are vast. Recently we added a new arm to the company that deals exclusively with credit repair and credit restoration. I’m amazed at the market for this service. I shouldn’t be but I am. Many have had their credit impacted by life, loss of income, sickness and death. People have lost their homes because of the financial crisis of 2008 and it’s severely effected how their navigating in the world right now. #TheStruggleIsReal.
So, in my conversations with people I’ve come to three (3) conclusive reasons on why people avoid the discussion of credit and finances. I’m gonna lay them out to you in no particular order. I’m sure there are more, but I’ve found these to be core and foundational reasons for the avoidance of this powerful issue.
- Embarrassment & Shame Concerning Poor Credit: People are embarrassed and feel a sense of shame in the fact that they couldn’t pay back a debt or loan that they took out with every intention of making good on it. It’s almost as if they feel like they’re a bad person because only bad guys don’t pay their debts. They’ve forgotten about the job loss. The sickness. The hospital visits and the astronomical prices that doctors and hospitals charge. The car accident. The divorce. I literally believe that when people have the funds, they pay their bills. When they don’t or they can’t, they don’t. If this is you, forgive yourself. You didn’t mean to do it. It wasn’t intentional. Let’s work on fixing it once and for all. The sun is shining again. Let’s attack this problem that has you paying MORE for money than most people. There’s nothing glorious about paying 29% interest on money or being unable to purchase the house and other things your family needs at a fair and decent rate.
- A Misunderstanding Of The Cost Of Credit Repair: Many believe that repairing their credit is a cost they can’t afford. It’s not. It’s less than going to McDonald’s everyday. It’s less than hitting up Starbucks for that cup of java every day too. I’ve come to realize that any monies associated with repairing our credit is some of the best money we can spend. Just think about it. You paid $99 dollars monthly to help you not pay an extra 5K on the car that you bought because now your credit score is approved for the lowest rates available. Remember, the people with great credit pay anywhere from 0% to 3% on their purchases and the ones with poor credit pay 10% upwards. We owe it to ourselves to sit down with a professional and map out a plan to get our credit stellar.
- Lack Of Knowledge Concerning Credit-Worthiness: This kinda’ delves or syncs with number 1, but it’s true. People get raked over the coals when they don’t know how credit works and the people that are raking them over the coals will never enlighten them. It’s good for their business to keep you stuck in bad credit. Let’s shore up your credit knowledge. Let’s get an understanding of timely payments and what percentages to keep your credit cards at. Let’s get the knowledge we need to negotiate at the car dealership or the mortgage lender. Our ability to know what we’re talking about will save us thousands in the long run. Here at Frank Henderson Financial we’ve launched a new campaign that we’ve named the“1B Campaign” because over the next 3 years we’d like to help 1,000 people fix and restore their credit. The B stands for billion. Why? Because that will be the financial impact in monies saved over a thirty year period in interest rates and excessive fees when a thousand people can purchase money at an excellent rate. If you’re ready, we’re ready. No matter the state you live in we can work together. Let’s change your financial outlook together. Reach out to us today at (919) 912 9367 or contact us at our website.
